The Netherlands has participated in every edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest since its inception in . The country has won the competition on one occasion; in , with the song "Click Clack" by Ralf Mackenbach. Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS (formerly AVRO) has been responsible for the participation, selecting the nation's entrant through the national final ''Junior Songfestival''. The Netherlands is the only country to have taken part in every edition of the contest. AVRO, short for Algemene Vereniging Radio Omroep ("General Association of Radio Broadcasting"), was a Dutch public broadcasting association operating within the framework of the Nederlandse Publieke Omroep system. The Netherlands selected their Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015 entry through ''Junior Songfestival 2015'', a national selection consisting of eight songs. The competing songs broke down into two semi-finals, each consisting of four songs, and a final consisting of the top two placing songs from each semi-final and a special wildcard that was originally eliminated. Mylène & Rosanne is a Dutch singing duo, consisting of the twin sisters Mylène and Rosanne Waalewijn (born 12 February 2000). Biography The twins are known for their participation in Junior Songfestival 2013 with the song "Double Me". Mylène & Rosanne won the national finals 28 September 2013 and therefore were to represent the Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Kyiv on 30 November 2013. Rachel Traets (born 16 August 1998) is a singer from the Netherlands. Traets lives in Wouw, a small village in the south-west of the Netherlands. In October 2011 she won the Dutch music competition Netherlands in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011, Junior Songfestival 2011 with the song "" ( en, "I Am A Teenager"). She was selected to represent her country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 held on 3 December 2011 in Yerevan, Armenia. Tess Gaerthé (born 21 August 1991), better known as simply Tess, is a Dutch singer and former child star. Gaerthé rose to fame as the Dutch representative at the third Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2005. Singing "Stupid", she finished in 7th place with 82 points, which remained the best result for the country until 2009.
