''Negima! Magister Negi Magi'', known in Japan as , is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Akamatsu. It was serialized in Kodansha's ''Weekly Shōnen Magazine'' from February 2003 to March 2012, with its chapters collected into 38 ''tankōbon'' volumes. ''Negima!'' was adapted into a 26-episode anime television series produced by Xebec that was broadcast on TV Tokyo from January to June 2005. A second 26-episode series produced by Shaft titled '' Negima!?'', which is alternate retelling, was broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 2006 to March 2007. In addition, four different sets of original video animations, an anime film and a live-action television series have also been produced. is an anime television series created by Shaft. It is an alternate retelling of the ''Negima! Magister Negi Magi'' series. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, it aired from October 4, 2006 to March 28, 2007 in Japan. The anime was accompanied by a monthly manga series by Takuya Fujima called ''Negima!? neo''. Shin Oonuma
is a Japanese anime director, animator, and storyboard artist. Oonuma's first employer in the anime industry was Office AO, but he is best known for his contributions to studios Shaft and Silver Link. Career Oonuma's first appearance in anime was as an in-between animator for '' Berserk)'' as a sub-contracting employee of Office AO. Ken Akamatsu
is a Japanese manga artist and politician who has served since 2022 as a member of the House of Councillors. He made his professional manga debut in 1993, and is best known as the author of ''Love Hina'' (1998–2001) and ''Negima! Tomoyuki Itamura
is a Japanese director, animator, and storyboard artist. He joined OLM in 2002 as an in-between animator and left in 2007 to join Shaft. Itamura took over the ''Monogatari'' series from Tatsuya Oishi as his television directorial debut with ''Nisemonogatari''. is a Japanese animator, director, writer, and storyboard artist. Best known for his works with Shaft (company), Shaft, he has attained international recognition with the studio for his unique visual style and storytelling methods. also known as ''Mahora Little Girls'', is a one volume spin-off manga from Negima, created by Ken Akamatsu and made into a manga by Yui. The manga originally ran in the magazine Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine from September 2010 to November 2011. was a Japanese animation studio based in Kokubunji, Tokyo, founded by former Tatsunoko Production animators on May 1, 1995. Shinkichi Mitsumune (光宗 信吉 Mitsumune Shinkichi) (born October 8, 1963) is a Japanese composer who writes music primarily for anime. Biography Mitsumune is a native of Fukuoka City in Fukuoka Prefecture and a graduate of Rikkyo University with a degree in business. He started studying music at the age of 4.
