Edith Hannam
Edith Margaret Hannam (''née'' Boucher; 28 November 1878 – 16 January 1951) was a female tennis player from Great Britain. She played at the 1912 Summer Olympics and won two gold medals. Family life Edith Margaret Boucher was born in Bristol, Gloucestershire on 28 November 1878, the daughter of John and Julia Boucher, her father was a pharmaceutical chemist. Boucher married Francis John Hannam at Long Ashton in 1909, as a Captain in the Gloucestershire Regiment he was killed in action in France on 5 July 1916. Tennis career In 1909 at the tennis tournament in Cincinnati Masters, Cincinnati, Hannam won the singles and mixed doubles titles and was a doubles finalist. She beat Martha Kinsey in the final for the singles title, paired with Julius Frieberg to reach the doubles final, and teamed with Lincoln Mitchell to win the mixed doubles title. Ian Charles Hannam (born March 1956) is a British investment banker, and founder of Hannam & Partners. He was previously Vice-Chairman of JPMorgan, where he became known as the "King of Mining". Hannam has been a principal investor in each of his banking endeavours and of late has been increasingly active as a principal investor outside of banking with a series of investments in the resource and fintech spaces. He remains one of the world's leading brokers of capital investments. Early life Ian Charles Hannam was born in March 1956. John Hannam
Sir John Gordon Hannam (born 2 August 1929) is a British Conservative politician. He was the last Conservative MP for Exeter to date, from 1970 until his retirement in 1997. Early life Hannam attended Yeovil Grammar School, where he matriculated. He served in the army, where he completed his National Service in the Middle East, and then in the Territorial Army. A keen sportsman, Hannam played hockey and tennis for Somerset, and was Singles Champion in 1953. Ken Hannam
Ken Hannam (12 July 1929 – 16 November 2004) was an Australian film and television director who also worked in British television drama. Career Born in St Kilda, Melbourne, the eldest of three boys, Hannam lived in his youth in Sydney and was educated at Wollaroi College in Orange, New South Wales. He worked in Australian radio, theatre and television. He started in radio when 15 years of age. He was an announcer at 2SM. He appeared in theatre as an actor, and appeared in the first Philip Street Revue. In 1957 he took over the TV show ''Captain Fortune''. In 1968 he moved to England. Walter Henry Hannam
Walter Henry Hannam (1885–1965) was an Australian wireless experimenter, a founding member of the Wireless Institute of Australia, wireless operator and mechanic on the Australasian Antarctic Expedition, a member of the ANZAC Wireless Company in World War I, and tireless promoter of amateur radio in the 1920s. Early life and family Hannam was born in 1885 in Burwood, New South Wales. He studied at the Sydney Technical College and was awarded a diploma in science. Hannam-dong is a '' dong'', neighbourhood of Yongsan-gu in Seoul, South Korea. One of the most affluent neighborhoods in the country, it has been portrayed continuously in South Korea's popular culture as a wealthy and luxurious spot, and for this it has been the subject of domestic films, television series, and Korean pop music. Hannam Station
Hannam Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line. It is located on the northwestern end of the Hannam Bridge, overlooking the Han River. It was also called Dankook University Station until 2007, when Dankook University moved the majority of its campus to the suburban city of Yongin.
