GCC Club Cup
The GCC Club Cup ( ar, كأس الأندية الخليجية), formerly known as the GCC Champions League ( ar, دوري أبطال مجلس التعاون الخليجي), was an annually organized football tournament for clubs of the six Gulf Cooperation Council nations. The tournament was first organized in 1982 as the GCC Club Championship and was last played in 2015, the 30th edition. Attempts to play the 31st edition failed. It was organised by the Gulf Cooperation Council and open to clubs from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. 1st GCC Club Championship
The 1st GCC Club Championship ( ar, بطولة الأنديـة الخليجية أبطال الدوري) was the first edition of the GCC Club Championship for clubs of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations. This edition of the competition featured five nations from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Al-Wasl of the United Arab Emirates withdrew without playing any matches, as many players were selected for the Asian youth championship. The competition was played between December 1982 and February 1983 on a home and away league format. Al Ettifaq Football Club ( ar, نادي الاتفاق لكرة القدم) is a professional football club in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Al-Ettifaq was established after the merging of three clubs in the city of Dammam at the year 1944. Mansour Muftah
Mansour Muftah Faraj Bekhit Al-Abdullah, or simply Mansour Muftah ( ar, منصور مفتاح, born 1955) is a Qatari former footballer who played as a forward. He was the top scorer in the Qatar Stars League a record 7 times, as well as being the top scorer for the Qatar national team till this day with 42 goals.
