Dhaka Wanderers Club ( bn, ঢাকা ওয়ান্ডারার্স ক্লাব) is a football team from Dhaka, Bangladesh. They are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Bangladesh. The Wanderers dominated the domestic scene during the 1950s and 60s, and were considered to be the one of the biggest clubs in the subcontinent before Bangladesh gained independence. Wanderers have seven domestic league titles and were also the runners-up of the Federation Cup (Bangladesh), Federation Cup in 1987, losing to Mohammedan SC (Dhaka), Mohammedan SC in the finals. Their rivalry with Mohammedan is seen as the first domestic club rivalry in Bangladeshi football history. Bangladesh National Football Team
The Bangladesh national football team ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ফুটবল দল) is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation, and became a member of FIFA in 1974, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. Bangladesh was elected as a member of the AFC Executive Committee in 1982–1986 and 1998–2002. Bangladesh Federation Cup
Federation Cup, also known as Bangladesh Federation Cup, is Bangladesh's premier cup competition in men's association football. The competition started in 1980 and is run by the Bangladesh Football Federation which is responsible for all types of competitive matches in the country. The teams from the country's premier league and other clubs compete in the tournament while occasionally Indian sides were invited in the past. Most of the matches are played in the country's main football venue Bangabandhu National Stadium. The winner of the tournament earn the slot of playing qualifying round of AFC Cup. Dhaka First Division Football League was the second tier football league in Bangladesh which was established in 1993 by the Bangladesh Football Federation. 2020–21 Bangladesh Championship League
The 2020–21 Bangladesh Championship League was the 9th season of the Bangladesh Championship League since its establishment in 2012. A total of 12 football clubs is competing in the league. T&T Club Motijheel withdrew from the league due to their financial issues. Swadhinata KS clinched their first title, with NoFeL SC following in second. The league was kicked off on 7 February 2021. It was originally scheduled to be completed within 25 June, but ended on 19 July as the league was postponed few times due to coronavirus pandemic. Dhaka Senior Division Football League, also referred as First Division Football League, is the third tier of football league in Bangladesh. Until 2006, it was the top-tier league of the country.
