Cyril Chapuis
Cyril Chapuis (born 21 March 1979) is a French former professional footballer who played as a striker. Club career Chapuis started his professional career at Niort in Ligue 2 and then moved to Ligue 1 for Rennes. In January 2002, he signed a five-year contract with Olympique de Marseille, playing one and a half season with Marseille before being loaned on three occasions to Leeds United (playing just once in the league, against Bolton in November 2003), Strasbourg and Ajaccio. He was released in summer 2005. After being without a club for one year, he joined Grenoble in Ligue 2. In November 2012, after three years without playing a single game, Chapuis joined National team Bourg-Péronnas. Chamois Niortais Football Club (often referred to as ''Les Chamois'', Chamois Niortais, or simply Niort) is a French association football club based in the commune of Niort, in the Deux-Sèvres department of western France. UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2002 was the 13th staging of UEFA's European Under-21 Championship. The final tournament was hosted by Switzerland between 16 and 28 May 2002. The Czech Republic national under-21 football team is the national under-21 association football team of the Czech Republic and is controlled by the Football Association of the Czech Republic. The team competes in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, held every two years. Although the breakup of Czechoslovakia occurred officially on 1 January 1993, the under-21 team continued until the end of the 1994 championship. After that, the Czech Republic and the Slovakia under-21s became separate footballing entities. For both nations, the first matches were played in September 1994 in qualification for the 1996 championship.
