Cynthia Myers
Cynthia Jeanette Myers (September 12, 1950 – November 4, 2011) was an American model, actress, and ''Playboy'' magazine's Playboy Playmate, Playmate of the Month for the December 1968 issue. Career Myers was the first ''Playboy'' Playmate born in the 1950s when she appeared in the magazine in December 1968. The pictures were shot in June 1968 when she was 17 years old, but it was Playboy's policy at that time to wait until a Playmate turned 18 before her pictures would be published. Her pictorial was titled "Wholly Toledo!" because of Myers' hometown and large breasts. Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar, and quickly became a favorite of American troops in Vietnam. The centerfold appears in the 1987 film ''Hamburger Hill'' and in the 1989 film ''The Siege of Firebase Gloria''. According to Myers, she was 13 when her breasts began to develop to the size 39 DD they were when she appeared in ''Playboy''. After her magazine debut, Myers made frequent appearances on Hugh ...

Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls
''Beyond the Valley of the Dolls'' is a 1970 American satirical musical melodrama film starring Dolly Read, Cynthia Myers, Marcia McBroom, Phyllis Davis, John LaZar, Michael Blodgett, and David Gurian. The film was directed by Russ Meyer and screenwritten by Roger Ebert from a story by Ebert and Meyer. Originally intended as a sequel to the 1967 film '' Valley of the Dolls''—"dolls" being a slang term for depressant pills or "downers"—''Beyond the Valley of the Dolls'' was instead revised as a parody of the commercially successful but critically reviled original. ''Beyond'' met a similar fate; it was initially panned by critics but became a box office success. The film later developed a cult following in subsequent decades, and earned some critical reappraisal for its satirical and metafictional elements. Plot Three young women—Kelly MacNamara, Casey Anderson, and Petronella "Pet" Danforth—perform in a rock band, the Kelly Affair, managed by Harris Allsworth, Kelly's boy ...

List Of People In Playboy 1960–1969
This list of people in ''Playboy'' 1960–1969 is a catalog of women and men who appeared in ''Playboy'' magazine in the years 1960 through 1969. Not all of the people featured in the magazine are pictured in the nude. While every month included a centerfold, interviews and cover models did not become an almost-regular feature until autumn 1962. The interviews would occasionally be replaced by panel discussions such as the two-part "Panel on 1984 and Beyond" published in 1963. Entries in indicate that the issue marks the original appearance of that year's Playmate of the Year (PMOY). 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 See also * List of people in Playboy 1953–1959 * List of people in Playboy 1970–1979 * List of people in Playboy 1980–1989 * List of people in Playboy 1990–1999 * List of people in Playboy 2000–2009 * List of people in Playboy 2010–2020 {{DEFAULTSORT:People in Playboy 1960-1969 Playboy lists Playboy 1960-196 ...

Bill Cosby Sexual Assault Cases
It emerged in late 2014 that Bill Cosby, an American media personality, sexually assaulted dozens of women throughout his career. Cosby made significant contributions to American and African-American culture, and is well known in the United States for his eccentric image, and gained a reputation as "America's Dad" for his portrayal of Cliff Huxtable on ''The Cosby Show'' (1984-1992). He received numerous awards and honorary degrees throughout his career, most of which have since been revoked. Cosby has been accused by approximately 60 women of rape, drug-facilitated sexual assault, sexual battery, child sexual abuse, and sexual misconduct. The earliest incidents allegedly took place in the mid-1960s. Assault allegations against Cosby became more public after a stand-up routine by comedian Hannibal Buress in October 2014, alluding to Cosby's covert sexual misbehavior; thereafter, many additional claims were made. Extra-vehicular Activity
Extravehicular activity (EVA) is any activity done by an astronaut in outer space outside a spacecraft. In the absence of a breathable Earthlike atmosphere, the astronaut is completely reliant on a space suit for environmental support. EVA includes ''spacewalks'' and lunar or planetary surface exploration (commonly known from 1969 to 1972 as ''moonwalks''). In a stand-up EVA (SEVA), an astronaut stands through an open hatch but does not fully leave the spacecraft. EVA has been conducted by the Soviet Union/Russia, the United States, Canada, the European Space Agency and China. On March 18, 1965, Alexei Leonov became the first human to perform a spacewalk, exiting the Voskhod 2 capsule for 12 minutes and 9 seconds. On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong became the first human to perform a moonwalk, outside his lunar lander on Apollo 11 for 2 hours and 31 minutes. On the last three Moon missions, astronauts also performed deep-space EVAs on the return to Earth, to retrieve film canis ...
