Cynthia Dussault Loewen (born November 13, 1993) is a Canadian bloger, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth Canada 2014 in Montreal, Canada on August 23, 2014. She represented Canada in the Miss Earth 2014 pageant. Early life Loewen is of German, Dutch and French descent. She is the daughter of a retired special-needs educator, and a prosthetist. Her younger brother, Garrick Loewen, is a professional triathlete. In spring 2016, Cynthia received her Bachelors of Arts and Science with distinction from the University of Windsor, specializing in Biological Sciences and French. She played competitive hockey for many years. She had been considering a career in medicine before choosing to become a full-time homemaker. LaSalle, Ontario
LaSalle is a town in Essex County, Ontario, Canada. It is a bedroom community of the City of Windsor and part of the Windsor Census Metropolitan Area, and is located south of that city. Miss Earth Canada is a beauty pageant held annually in search of the most beautiful and environmental-friendly woman in Canada. It is the official preliminary to the Miss Earth pageant. The winners are chosen based on physical attributes and skills in speaking in public on environmental matters. Miss Earth 2012, the 12th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, was held on November 24, 2012 at the Versailles Palace in Las Piñas, Philippines. Olga Álava of Ecuador crowned her successor Tereza Fajksová of the Czech Republic at the end of the event.
