Cynic Paradise
''Cynic Paradise'' is the sixth studio album by the Swedish industrial metal project Pain, released on 31 October 2008 via Nuclear Blast. It reached No. 30 on the Swedish album charts. The album features a duet with then-Nightwish singer Anette Olzon in the songs "Follow Me" and "Feed Us". Disc 2 features a ''Depeche Mode'' cover and remixes. The artwork was created by renowned artist Travis Smith (''Devin Townsend'', ''Amorphis'', ''Opeth'', ''Nevermore''). The North American version was released on 8 June 2010 with bonus live disc and alternative cover. Pain (Swedish Band)
Pain (typeset as PAIN) is a musical project from Sweden that mixes heavy metal with influences from electronic music and techno. The project started out as a hobby project for frontman Peter Tägtgren, whose idea was to fuse heavy metal with 1980s-inspired electro-industrial and techno influences. Tägtgren, who is also the vocalist/guitarist of Hypocrisy and producer of his own ''The Abyss'' studios, is the only current member. Amorphis
Amorphis is a Finnish heavy metal band founded by Jan Rechberger, Tomi Koivusaari, and Esa Holopainen in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including progressive metal, and folk metal. They frequently use the ''Kalevala'', the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics. Pain is a distressing feeling often caused by intense or damaging stimuli. Electric Light Orchestra
The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970 by songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne and Roy Wood with drummer Bev Bevan. Their music is characterised by a fusion of pop, classical arrangements and futuristic iconography. After Wood's departure in 1972, Lynne became the band's sole leader, arranging and producing every album while writing nearly all of their original material. For their initial tenure, Lynne, Bevan and keyboardist Richard Tandy were the group's only consistent members. ELO was formed out of Lynne's and Wood's desire to create modern rock and pop songs with classical overtones.
