Cygnet Estuary Conservation Park
Cygnet Estuary Conservation Park is a protected area located on the west coast of Nepean Bay on Kangaroo Island in South Australia about west southwest of Kingscote, South Australia, Kingscote. It was proclaimed under the ''National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972'' in 2014 on the basis that some existing crown land 'should be protected and preserved for the purpose of conserving any wildlife and the natural features of the land'. The Cygnet Estuary which is considered to be a significant wetland is located within the boundaries of the conservation park. Kingscote, South Australia
Kingscote is a town in the Australian state of South Australia located on Kangaroo Island about south-west of the state capital of Adelaide. It is South Australia's oldest European settlement and the island's largest town. At the 2016 census, Kingscote had a population of 1,790. Nepean Bay is a bay located on the north-east coast of Kangaroo Island in the Australian state of South Australia about south-south-west of Adelaide.
