Cyber Security Czar
The National Cybersecurity Center (NCC) was founded in 2016 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was started from a vision of then Governor John Hickenlooper, in coordination with several people from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) and the community. The NCC serves both public and private organizations and individuals through training, education, and research. The NCC is not to be confused with the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC), an office within the United States Department of Homeland Security. Leadership Ed Rios was CEO of the NCC from October 2016 to 2018. Vance Brown was CEO from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, Harry D. Raduege, Jr., Lieutenant General, USAF (Ret.) became CEO. National Cybersecurity Center Of Excellence
The National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) is a US government organization that builds and publicly shares solutions to cybersecurity problems faced by U.S. businesses. The center, located in Rockville, Maryland, was established in 2012 through a partnership with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the state of Maryland, and Montgomery County. The center is partnered with nearly 20 market-leading IT companies, which contribute hardware, software and expertise. The NCCoE asks industry sector members about their cybersecurity problems, then selects issues that affect an entire sector or reaches across sectors. The center forms a team of people from cybersecurity technology companies, other federal agencies and academia to address each problem. National Cyber Security Alliance
The National Cyber Security Alliance (NCA), is a 501(c)(3) USA non-profit organization founded in 2001, promoting cyber security, privacy, education, and awareness. The NCA works with various stakeholders in the government, industry and civil society. The NCA promotes partnerships between the federal government and corporations operating in technology. NCA's primary federal partner is the Cyber security and Infrastructure Security Agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. NCA's core efforts include Cyber Security Awareness Month (October); Data Privacy Day (Jan. 28); and Cyber Secure Business. Joseph Manchin III (born August 24, 1947) is an American politician and businessman serving as the senior United States senator from West Virginia, a seat he has held since 2010.
