Curtis Nelson
Curtis Alexander Nelson (born 21 May 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a centre back for Derby County. He has also played in the English Football League for Plymouth Argyle, Oxford United, Cardiff City and Blackpool. Nelson made his debut in the Football League in 2010. He was capped by England at under-18 level. Early and personal life Nelson was born in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire. He is a cousin of sprinters Ashleigh and Alexander Nelson and his younger brother Wes appeared in series 4 of the reality TV show ''Love Island'' in 2018. Career Plymouth Argyle Nelson spent seven years with Stoke City as a schoolboy before being released in February 2009. He joined Plymouth Argyle two months later. Darren John Purse (born 14 February 1977) is an English former professional footballer who now coaches the Cardiff City U23s. A centre-back, he began his career at Leyton Orient, before winning a £100,000 move to Oxford United in July 1996. He continued to impress, and was bought by Birmingham City for £700,000 in February 1998. George Anthony Moncur (born 18 August 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Leyton Orient. Peter Reid (born 20 June 1956) is an English football manager, pundit and former player. A defensive midfielder in his playing days, Reid enjoyed a long and successful career. He built his reputation as one of England's brightest midfield talents of the time at Bolton Wanderers, before signing for Everton in 1982. It was there that he enjoyed the most fruitful spell of his career, as he helped the club win domestic and European honours, including the Football League twice.
