The 2018–19 LEB Oro season was the 23rd season of the Spanish basketball second league. It started on 5 October 2018 with the first round of the regular season and ended on 2 June 2019 with the final. The 2007–08 LEB season is the 12th season of the Liga Española de Baloncesto. The 612-game regular season (34 games for each of the 18 teams) began on Friday, September 21, 2007, and will end on Friday, May 16, 2008. The champion of the regular season will be promoted to ACB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007. The league is contested by 18 clubs. Each season, the top-finishing team in the LEB Oro are automatically promoted to the Liga ACB.
