Major Culbert (born December 29, 1987) is a former American football linebacker. He first enrolled at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln before transferring to Abilene Christian University. He attended Narbonne High School in Harbor City, Los Angeles. Culbert has been a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early years Culbert played high school football for the Narbonne High School Gauchos. He recorded more than 4,000 rushing yards and scored 37 touchdowns in his career. He rushed for 1,955 yards and 17 touchdowns his senior year. He also recorded 10 receptions for 123 yards his senior year. Culbert set a school record with 332 rushing yards. Culbert Olson
Culbert Levy Olson (November 7, 1876 – April 13, 1962) was an American lawyer and politician. A Democratic Party member, Olson was involved in Utah and California politics and was elected as the 29th governor of California from 1939 to 1943. Early life and education Olson was born in Fillmore, Utah, the son of Delilah Cornelia (née King) and George Daniel Olson, on November 7, 1876. Olson's mother was a suffragette and became the first female elected official in Utah. His first cousin was U.S. Senator William H. King, and both were descendants of Edmund Rice, an early immigrant to Massachusetts Bay Colony. Olson's mother and father belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, Culbert was unconvinced of the existence of God, and became an atheist at the age of ten. Leaving school at the age of 14, Olson worked briefly as a telegraph operator. Harold William Culbert
Harold William Culbert (16 May 1944 – 1 March 2005) was a Canadian businessman and politician. Culbert was a member of the House of Commons of Canada from 1993 to 1997. Culbert was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick and was once that community's mayor from 1980 to 1992. By career, he was a businessman, including work in insurance sales. He first campaigned for the Liberal party in the Carleton—Charlotte electoral district in 1988 but lost to Progressive Conservative candidate Greg Thompson. He defeated Thompson in 1993 and served in the 35th Canadian Parliament. For the 1997 general election, Culbert and Thompson would again compete, this time in the restructured riding of Charlotte. David Thomas Culbert (born 17 March 1967 in Sydney) is a former international track and field athlete. In an international long jump career that spanned ten years, he won two Commonwealth Games silver medals in 1990 and 1994 and also made finals at the 1992 Olympics.
