Vasile Odobescu (born Cuizăuca) was a founder and leader of the anti-Soviet organization Democratic Agrarian Party.Ion Ţurcanu, "Vasile Odobescu, un ostaş al dezmoşteniţilor", in Moldova antisovietică. During the Soviet deportations from Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina, his parents and his sister were deported from Moldovan SSR (Bessarabia) to Siberia. In 1950 he founded the Democratic Agrarian Party, one of the largest and best anti-Soviet resistance organizations in rural areas of the Moldovan SSR. Valeriu Saharneanu (born 3 August 1952) is a journalist from the Republic of Moldova. He has been the head of the Union of Journalists of Moldova since 1994. Biography Valeriu (Vladimir) Saharneanu was born on 3 August 1952 in Cuizăuca, Rezina District, where he completed his elementary studies (1959–1969). He has a degree in philology from the Journalism Department at Moldova's State University, and from the Journalism Department at the Superior School of Political Science in Sankt-Petersburg. He attended the Moldova State University (1970–1975) and the Faculty of Journalism of the Saint Petersburg State University (1987–1989). Victor Cobăsneanu (born 9 December 1960, in Cuizăuca) is a journalist from Soroca, Republic of Moldova. He has been the editor in chief of Observatorul de Nord in Soroca since 1988. Also, he is an editorialist of Vocea Basarabiei. Biography Victor Cobăsneanu graduated from Ion Creangă Pedagogical State University in 1986 and worked as correspondent for Moldpres, correspondent for „Nezavisimaia Moldova” and adviser of the prefect of Soroca. Rezina District
Rezina is a district ( ro, raion) in the east of Moldova, with the administrative center at Rezina. Rezina is situated on the western bank of the Nistru river. As of 1 January 2011, its population was 52,600. History The first human settlements on the territory of the district today appeared in the Neolithic era (7th-5th millennium BC). Near villages Solonceni, Echimăuţi and Stohnaia and found traces of the existence of territorial and cultural community of families of related tribes. Fertile soil, suitable for cattle breeding and agriculture, water and forests bank, which is a good shelter, were elements that favored flat settlements in these places. Eastern European Summer Time (EEST) is one of the names of the UTC+03:00 time zone, which is 3 hours ahead of Coordinated Universal Time. It is used as a summer daylight saving time in some European and Middle Eastern countries, which makes it the same as Arabia Standard Time, East Africa Time, and Moscow Time.
