Alexander Cudmore
Alexander Cudmore (February 10, 1888 – December 18, 1944) was an American amateur association football, soccer player who competed in the 1904 Summer Olympics. He was born and died in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1904 he was a member of the Christian Brothers College High School, Christian Brothers College team, which won the silver medal in the soccer tournament. He played all four matches as a forward. Arthur Cudmore
Sir Arthur Murray Cudmore CMG FRCS (11 June 1870 – 27 February 1951) was a leading surgeon and professor at the University of Adelaide in the first half of the 20th century. History Cudmore was born at Paringa, South Australia on the River Murray. Educated at St. Peter's College and the University of Adelaide, he graduated in surgery and medicine in 1894. Five years' post-graduate study in Britain followed — for a while he was a house surgeon at London Hospital — after which he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. Later he became lecturer in clinical surgery at the University of Adelaide and consulting surgeon at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. Cudmore had a distinguished record in World War I. He left Australia with the rank of lieutenant-colonel as consulting surgeon to the 3rd Australian General Hospital. Collier Cudmore
Sir Collier Robert Cudmore (13 June 1885 – 16 May 1971) was an Australian lawyer, politician and Olympic rower who won the gold medal in the 1908 Summer Olympics for Great Britain. Early life and rowing career Cudmore was born at Avoca, Wentworth, New South Wales, Australia, the son of Daniel Henry Cudmore, a pastoralist, and his second wife Martha Earle, née McCracken. He attended St Peter's College and the University of Adelaide. He went to England to continue his education at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he rowed for his college and for Oxford in the Boat Race of 1908. He was a member of the Magdalen College Coxless four which won the Stewards' Challenge Cup and the Visitors' Challenge Cup at Henley Royal Regatta in 1908. Daniel Cudmore (born January 20, 1981) is a Canadian actor and stuntman. He is perhaps best known for his roles as the superhero Peter Rasputin / Colossus in the ''X-Men'' film series, and as the Volturi Felix in ''The Twilight Saga'' film series. Personal life Cudmore was born and raised in Squamish, British Columbia, to English parents Sue Bailey, who works for the British Columbia Film Commission, and Richard Cudmore, a doctor. Cudmore is the middle of three boys. Cudmore attended Gannon University and was a member of the football team (2000–02). He is a former forward for the Capilano Rugby Football Club in Vancouver. Daniel Cudmore (businessman)
Daniel Michael Paul Cudmore (1811 – 3 November 1891) was a pastoralist in the early days of South Australia and the founder of a family highly influential in that and other States, especially Queensland. History Daniel was born in Tory Hall in County Limerick, Ireland in 1811 and educated in Essex, England. In 1835 he and his wife Mary (née Nihill), together with his wife's immediate family, emigrated to Australia on the ''John Denniston'' under Captain Mackie which left Liverpool on 11 February 1835 for Sydney, Australia and arrived in Hobart, Tasmania (or Van Diemen's Land as it was then known) on 7 June 1835. His original destination may have been Sydney, but while the ship was in Hobart, he met a cousin, surgeon Captain Russell of the 63rd Regiment, who persuaded him to settle in Tasmania. Harold Cudmore
Harold Cudmore, (born April 21, 1944) is an Irish sailor. Born and raised in Cork, Harold Cudmore became an internationally famous yacht racing skipper and match racer. Cudmore had success in classes from the International 505, where he placed 2nd in the World and 4th in Europe, through classes like the Half-ton and One-Ton classes where he won the Worlds, through to the America's Cup and the Admiral's Cup. He represented Ireland at the 1972 Summer Olympics, where he competed in the two-man Flying Dutchman sailing event. He was the first non-American to win the Congressional Cup in the US, one of the longest-established and most prestigious match racing events. Jamie Cudmore
Jamie Cudmore (born 6 September 1978) is a Canadian former professional rugby union player who played as a lock and as a flanker. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he began his career with Capilano RFC in British Columbia. He then played professionally in Wales for Llanelli and Llandovery, and in France for Grenoble, Clermont and Oyonnax. He was nicknamed "Cuddles" by his teammates. Professional career Cudmore debuted for Canada in 2002 against the United States and appeared in the 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 Rugby World Cups. On 29 May 2010, Cudmore's team ASM Clermont Auvergne won the Top 14 Championship, beating USA Perpignan 19–6 at the Stade de France. Richard Cudmore
Richard Cudmore (1787 – 29 December 1840) was an English musician. Primarily a violinist, he also played cello and piano, and was a composer. Life Cudmore was born in Chichester in 1787. He developed a talent for music at a very early age. His first instructor was James Forgett, a local organist, under whom he learnt the violin, acquiring such proficiency that at the age of nine he played a solo at a concert in Chichester. About 1797 he was placed under Joseph Reinagle, and shortly afterwards became a pupil of Johann Peter Salomon, with whom he studied the violin for two years. In 1799 he led the band at the Chichester theatre, and in the same year was engaged as a first violin in the orchestra at Italian Opera in London. He returned soon afterwards to Chichester, where he remained until 1808; in that year he moved to London, studied the piano under Joseph Woelfl, and appeared as a solo pianist and violinist at the principal concerts. Cudmore is a national park in Central West Queensland, Australia, 844 km northwest of Brisbane. The terrain of the park has an elevation of 398 meters.
