Cryogenic Studio, Vol. 2
''Cryogenic Studio, Vol. 2'' is a compilation album, released in 2000, and the follow-up to the 1998 album Cryogenic Studios. It is composed from songs of electronic music bands Front Line Assembly, Noise Unit, Delerium, Pro>Tech, Equinox, and Synæsthesia, all of which are projects of Canadian electronic musician Bill Leeb. The album title refers to the name of ''Cryogenic Studio'' in Vancouver that serves as headquarters studio for Front Line Assembly and related side projects. All tracks except "Biosphere", "Eros", "Door to the Otherside", "Miracle", "Inner Chaos", and "Re-Thread" were re-released in 2005 by Cleopatra on the compilation album ''The Best of Cryogenic Studio'', together with most of the tracks from previous compilation album '' Cryogenic Studios''. The back cover shows several errors. The sixth song on disc one is called "Door to the Otherside" but only "Otherside" is visible. Front Line Assembly
Front Line Assembly (FLA) is a Canadian electro-industrial band formed by Bill Leeb in 1986 after leaving Skinny Puppy. FLA has developed its own sound incorporating elements of electronic body music and electro-industrial. The band's membership has rotated through the years, including Michael Balch, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson, all of whom are associated with several other acts. Since their inception, the group have produced over a dozen studio albums and EPs, several of which have charted on '' Billboards Top Dance/Electronic Album chart. The albums '' Tactical Neural Implant'' and '' Hard Wired'' are two of the group's most successful records, the former being considered a classic among industrial music fans. Epitaph (Front Line Assembly Album)
''Epitaph'' is the eleventh full-length studio album by Vancouver industrial band Front Line Assembly, released in 2001. Release With the release, Metropolis also issued a Digipak version that contains a hidden bonus track and was limited to 25.000 copies. Even though the bonus track was originally announced as untitled, its title was later revealed as "Submerged". It was later available in remixed form on the Noise Unit 2005 album ''Voyeur''. The track "Existence" is featured in the 2002 horror film ''Resident Evil'' but not on the accompanying soundtrack. In 2015, Canadian label Artoffact re-released ''Epitaph'' on limited edition vinyl. Single "Everything Must Perish" is the only single taken from ''Epitaph''. Along with the original version the title track is featured as radio edit. Rhys Fulber
Nowell Rhys Fulber is a Canadian electronic musician and producer. He is a member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium, along with Bill Leeb. He also records under his own name and under the name Conjure One. Biography Rhys Fulber was born in Vancouver, Canada on October 10, 1970. His father, a musician, was born in Germany and his mother was from Great Britain. His father introduced him to the music of Led Zeppelin and Kraftwerk (and took him along to see Kraftwerk live in 1975). Fulber became interested in music and started drumming on his father's instruments at a very early age. His father later built and ran a recording studio, catering toward the local punk rock scene. As a youth, Fulber spent a lot of time at the studio. In 1984 he started becoming more interested in electronic music and acquired his first synthesizer. Chris Peterson (born May 14, 1968) is a Canadian producer and electronic musician from Vancouver. Throughout his career, he has worked with numerous bands in the Canadian industrial and electronic music scene of which Front Line Assembly and Delerium are the most notable. Bill Leeb
Wilhelm Anton "Bill" Leeb (born 21 September 1966, in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian-Canadian electronic musician and record producer. He is best known for being a founding member of the industrial music group Front Line Assembly. Additionally, Leeb is known for his work with groups such as Noise Unit, Delerium, Intermix, and Skinny Puppy, among others. Career Leeb began his musical career with industrial band Skinny Puppy in 1985 under the pseudonym Wilhelm Schroeder, contributing bass synth and occasional backing vocals to a few of their recordings and concerts. He left in 1986 and formed his own industrial project Front Line Assembly with Michael Balch, and later Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson.
