Crossbone Gundam
is a six-volume manga series written and illustrated by Yuuichi Hasegawa based on notes and information by Yoshiyuki Tomino, serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's '' Shōnen Ace'' magazine from December 1994 to March 1997 issues. A sequel to the animated theatrical film ''Mobile Suit Gundam F91'', ''Crossbone'' has been officially distributed only in Japan and Italy. SD Gundam G Generation is a series of strategy-RPG video games that focus on the Gundam anime franchise. History The ''G Generation'' series technically began in 1996, when Bandai released a series of six games for Nintendo's Super Famicom console's Sufami Turbo add-on, each focusing on a particular era from the ''Gundam'' multiverse. Yoshiyuki Tomino
is a Japanese mecha anime creator, animator, director, screenwriter, songwriter and novelist best known for creating the ''Gundam'' anime franchise. He was born in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and studied at Nihon University's College of Art. Career & Legacy Tomino began his career in 1963 with Osamu Tezuka's company, Mushi Productions, scripting the storyboards and screenplay of the first Japanese anime television series, '' Tetsuwan Atomu'' (also known as ''Astro Boy''). According to anime producer Seiji Suzuki, while at the company, he was under the mentorship of Hiroshi Wakao, the later founder and first president of production studio Shaft.
