The Hrvatska Premijer ženska košarkaška liga ( en, Croatian Premier Women's Basketball League), also known as Premijer ženska liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level league for women's basketball clubs in Croatia. Founded in 1991 following the independence of the country, it is contested by ten teams. Basketball

Šibenik
Šibenik () is a historic city in Croatia, located in central Dalmatia, where the river Krka flows into the Adriatic Sea. Gripe Sports Center ( hr, Športski centar Gripe) is a sports complex located in the Gripe city district of Split, Croatia. It features four indoor halls, and is used to host many sports, as well as concerts. The seating capacity of the small indoor hall is 3,500, and of the biggest one is 6,000. ŽKK Trešnjevka 2009
Ženski Košarkaški Klub Trešnjevka 2009 is a Croatian women's basketball club from Zagreb currently playing in the First League of Croatia. Its major success was winning the Ronchetti Cup in 1980 beating Maritsa Plovdiv in the final; it was the only Yugoslav team that won the competition. It also reached the final in 1976 and 1981, but lost to Slavia Prague and Spartak Moscow. Following the break-up of Yugoslavia it won three national cups between 1993 and 1996 and the national championship in 1999, remaining a regular in the Ronchetti Cup's preliminary rounds through the decade.
