Cristina Salak
Cristina Salak (born August 10, 1976) is a Filipino volleyball coach and former volleyball player. Career She was part of the national team that won bronze medal in the 2005 SEA Games in the women's indoor volleyball. She also competed under the Philippine flag in the 2005 AVC Qualification for the 2006 FIVB Women's World Championship held at Ratchaburi, Thailand. Salak became SVL Season 8, 2nd Conference champion with Philippine Army Lady Troopers, she was SVL Season 8, SEA Club Invitational Runner-Up, and SVL Season 9, 2nd Conference and Season 10 bronze medalist. She was again SVL Season 11, 2nd Conference champion before being silver medalist during the SVL Season 11, Reinforced Open, SVL Season 12, Open Conference and SVL Season 12, Reinforced Open. For the 2013 PSL Invitational Conference she claimed again with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers the championship. The Shakey's V-League 11th Season: Open Conference was the 20th conference of Shakey's V-League held between June 29, 2014, to August 31, 2014. The opening ceremonies were held on June 29, 2014, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. There were eight (8) teams that competed, with the Philippine Army Lady Troopers emerging as the tournament's champion. The 2018 Chooks-To-Go PSL Grand Prix Conference was the first conference and first indoor tournament for the Philippine Super Liga's sixth season. The games commenced February 17, 2018 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig and the formal opening ceremony was held on February 24, 2018 at the Santa Rosa Multipurpose Complex in Santa Rosa, Laguna. Philippine Super Liga
The Philippine Super Liga (PSL; alternatively spelled as Philippine Superliga) was a non-professional corporate club women's volleyball league in the Philippines. It was first organized by SportsCore Event Management and Consultancy, Inc. and later owned by Athletic Events & Sports Management Group (ACES), Inc. The league was envisioned to provide former collegiate players a league with which they can continue with their volleyball career. The PSL also had a men's division from 2013 to 2014, although its beach volleyball tournament both have a women's and men's division since its inception. 2016 PSL Season
The 2016 PSL season was the fourth season of the Philippine Super Liga (PSL). There were three indoor conferences and one beach volleyball tournament for the season. The PSL was also chosen to organize two international volleyball tournaments for the year - the 2016 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship and the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship - both of which were staged in the Philippines. Background The calendar of events for the 2016 season was finalized during the planning session between the league officials and team owners on November 11, 2015. Starting this season, teams will offer annual exclusive contracts, instead of per-conference agreements with their players. The Generika Ayala Lifesavers are a professional women's volleyball team owned by Actimed, Inc. (Generika Drugstore) in partnership with Ayala Corporation. History Generika Drugstore first became involved in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) when it sponsored the Philippine Army Lady Troopers during the 2014 All-Filipino Conference, playing as the "Generika-Army Lady Troopers". For the following conference, the company formed its own team composed of the coaching staff and most of the players from the disbanded AirAsia Flying Spikers.
