Crisis Force
is a 1991 vertically scrolling Shoot 'em up, shooting game released by Konami in Japan for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer. The player controls one of two fighter ships piloted by Asuka and Maya, a pair of twin siblings descended from the ancient civilizations of Mu, who must save the world from a breed of artificial monsters from the lost civilization of Atlantis. The main feature of the game system is the player's ability to transform its ship in one of three different forms, each with its unique attack method. Contra Force
''Contra Force'' is an action shooting game released by Konami for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992 in North America. It is a spinoff of the ''Contra'' series, being the third game in the series released for the NES following the original ''Contra'' and ''Super Contra''. However, the game's plot and setting are unrelated to both previous and succeeding entries, as the villains in the game are human terrorists instead of an alien menace. The game was scheduled to be released in Japan under the title of , with no ties to the ''Contra'' series, but was cancelled. GameSpy was an American provider of online multiplayer and matchmaking middleware for video games founded in 1996 by Mark Surfas.
