Cree Myles
Cree Myles is an American influencer, writer and organizer, living in Milwaukee. She is the creator and manager of 'All Ways Black' on Instagram. Early life Born in Milwaukee, Myles's parents moved their family to Menomonee Falls when she was ten. There her mother was the first black female principal and her father was Wisconsin’s first black game warden. Myles's grandmother was one of 16 children in rural Mississippi, and was a direct descendant of enslaved people. Myles received a dual bachelor's degree at Alverno College in Community Development and Global Studies. Music Myles's father is a blues guitarist, and inspired an early love of music. After college Myles performed as a singer in and around the Riverwest area, getting her start performing at homeless shelters. She also performed at local breweries and jazz clubs. Menomonee Falls is a village in Waukesha County, Wisconsin, United States, and is part of the Greater Milwaukee area. The population was 35,626 at the 2010 census, making it the most populous village in Wisconsin. It is the fourth largest community in Waukesha County. Alverno College is a private Roman Catholic women's college in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. History Chartered in 1887 as St. Joseph's Normal School, Alverno became Alverno Teachers College in 1936. It adopted its current name in 1946. Academics Alverno offers undergraduate programs and a coeducational Master of Arts program for teachers and business professionals, the Alverno MBA, and a Master of Science in nursing. Chloe Anthony Wofford Morrison (born Chloe Ardelia Wofford; February 18, 1931 – August 5, 2019), known as Toni Morrison, was an American novelist.
