Crany is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated community in Wyoming County, West Virginia, Wyoming County, West Virginia, United States, situated along the Clear Fork (Guyandotte River), Clear Fork. It was one of the originally populated settlements of the region and is situated in a fertile farming plain. The community consists of small family farms, has retained much of the descendants of the original pioneers of the region, and was a historically important region for Logging in Appalachia, logging in the early 20th century.
