Covini Engineering
Covini Engineering is an Italian car manufacturer that was formed in 1978 by Ferruccio Covini. The company is generally best known for the Covini C6W, a 6-wheeled sports car that has two axles (four wheels) in the front of the car. This company Is located in Castel San Giovanni, Piacenza. Covini's first prototype, the Covini T44 Turbo, was a 4x4 off-road vehicle with the exterior body consisting entirely of flat, interchangeable panels. It was powered by a 2,000 cc turbocharged diesel motor. However, the T44 never saw actual production beyond the one prototype. Over the following 20 years, Covini developed several two-door sport cars with diesel engines: the T46, B24, T40, and C36. Francis Covi
Francis Marino Mensah Covi (5 February 1906–14 November 1966) was a Dahomeyan politician and educator. Covi was born in Ouidah on 5 February 1906. He earned admission to the Ecole William Ponty in Senegal in 1919 and also studied in Aix-en-Provence, France. Covi returned to Dahomey in 1926 and became the leader of the Porto-Novo and later Cotonou school systems. He served in the General Council and later Territorial Assembly. From 1957 to 1959 he was president of the Territorial Assembly. On 30 April 1959, Covi became a senator in the French Community, serving until 16 March 1961. Tizza Covi (1971, in Bolzano) is an Italian screenwriter and director. She lived in Paris and Berlin before studying photography in Vienna. After finishing her studies she went to Rome where she worked as a photographer. Since 1996 she works together with Rainer Frimmel on films, theatre, and photography. In 2002 they founded their own film production company, Vento Film, to produce their films independently. They have won several awards for their documentaries, including the Wolfgang-Staudte-Award at the Berlinale for ''Babooska''. Carlo Covi
Carlo Covi (Padua, 29 November 1961) is a Venetist and social-democratic politician from Veneto, Italy. He entered politics in 1995 when he was elected to the Municipal Council of Padua as an independent Democrat of the Left. In 1999 he joined the Italian Democratic Socialists (SDI), was re-elected to the Municipal Council and became the local leader of the party. Re-elected in 2004, in the 2005 regional election Covi was elected member of the Regional Council of Veneto in the Province of Padua for The Olive Tree. As soon as 2006 he left the SDI in order to launch his own political party, Venetian Agreement, whose name reflected his shift toward Venetism.
