Courtney Young
Courtney Young (born 11 February 1955) is a Caymanian cricket umpire who sits on the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel. He made his first-class umpiring debut in 2004, and has since regularly umpired in International Cricket Council (ICC) tournaments. Biography Young was born in Jamaica in 1955. One of twelve siblings, he grew up in Clarendon, and went on to attend Glenmuir High School, subsequently studying surveying at the College of Arts, Science and Technology (now the University of Technology). His work as a land surveyor first brought him to the Cayman Islands in 1984, to work on the Cayman Brac airport, and he emigrated permanently in 1987, taking up a surveying job with the Caymanian government. Although he had played club cricket in both Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, Young later concentrated on umpiring, and in 1995 became the inaugural president of the Cayman Islands Cricket Umpires Association (CICUA). Jamaica

United States National Cricket Team
The United States national cricket team is the team that represents the United States in international cricket. The team was formerly organised by the United States of America Cricket Association (USACA), which became an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 1965. In June 2017, the USACA was expelled by the ICC due to governance and financing issues, with the U.S. team being temporarily overseen by ICC Americas until a new sanctioning body was established. In January 2019, associate membership was officially granted to USA Cricket. A U.S. representative team participated in the first international cricket match, played against Canada in 1844. Caymanians are the status holders or born citizens of the Cayman Islands. As a British Overseas Territory, citizens of the Cayman Islands will hold British Overseas Territories Citizenship. There is no record of a native people to the Cayman Islands. Most Caymanians are of mixed European and African descent, coming from early British settlers and enslaved people from Africa. Since 21 May 2002, citizens of all the British Overseas Territories became British citizens under a new UK law, granting the people of every BOT, including the Cayman Islands, the right to live, study and work in the UK as a full citizen, as well as receive the same benefits given to British citizens in the UK. Twenty20 International
A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of cricket, played between two of the international members of the International Cricket Council (ICC), in which each team faces a maximum of twenty overs. The matches have top-class status and are the highest T20 standard. The game is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. Starting from the format's inception in 2005, T20I status only applied to Full Members and some Associate Member teams. However, in April 2018, the ICC announced that it would grant T20I status to all its 105 members from 1 January 2019. The shortened format was initially introduced to bolster crowds for the domestic game, and was not intended to be played internationally, but the first Twenty20 International took place on 17 February 2005 when Australia defeated New Zealand, and the first tournament was played two years later, with the introduction of the ICC T20 World Cup. 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four
The 2016 ICC World Cricket League Division Four was an international limited-overs cricket tournament held in Los Angeles from 29 October – 5 November 2016. It was the fifth edition of WCL Division Four, and the first World Cricket League tournament played in the United States. All matches were played at the Leo Magnus Cricket Complex. The tournament was won by the United States, who defeated Oman in the final by 13 runs. Both the finalists were promoted to the 2017 Division Three tournament. The bottom two teams, Jersey and Italy, were relegated to Division Five. Jersey's Corey Bisson was the leading run-scorer, while Denmark's Aftab Ahmed and American pace bowler Timil Patel were the equal leading wicket-takers. Sameer Bandekar
Sameer Bandekar (born 29 October 1964) is an Indian cricket umpire who currently represents the United States. He stood in his first men's One Day International (ODI) match in 2002. He later emigrated to the United States, and was elected to the ICC Associates and Affiliates Umpire Panel in 2015. In May 2015, he stood in matches in the 2015 ICC Americas Twenty20 Division One tournament. He stood in his first men's Twenty20 International (T20I) on 22 December 2021, between United States and Ireland. 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup
The 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was a one-day cricket competition for sixteen international U-19 cricketing teams which was held in August 2012. This was the ninth time that the tournament was held since its inception back in 1988. The tournament was held in Australia for the second time after previously hosting it in 1988 with the tournament being held across three cities (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Townsville). Six teams qualified from the qualifying event as they joined the full members that automatically qualified through to the World Cup. The teams were separated into four groups of four with the top two teams qualifying through to the Super League while the bottom two will compete in the Plate Championship. After finishing second in their group, India beat Australia in the final by six wickets to win their third title after previously winning in 2000 and 2008. ICC Americas is an international body which oversees cricket in countries in the Americas. It is a subordinate body to the International Cricket Council (ICC). The organisation currently has 17 members, located in Northern America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, and is responsible for the development, promotion and administration of the game in the above regions. ICC Americas oversees the regional qualification tournaments for the Cricket World Cup, the Women's Cricket World Cup, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, and the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.
