Councillor Tuura
Councillor Tuura is a fictional character in the Finnish comedy film series Uuno Turhapuro. He is the father of Uuno's wife Elisabeth Turhapuro (née Tuura), Uuno's father-in-law and married with Reetta Tuura, Elisabeth's mother. Uuno wrings when he speaking the official title of Councillor Tuura, ''vuorineuvos'' to ''vuoristoneuvos''. He is chief executive officer of the Tuura Company. Councillor Tuura has many first names during the film series: Voldemar, Karolus, Taneli, Elmeri, Valtter and Hugo. His secretary is Miss Unelma Säleikkö. Councillor Tuura can't stand his son-in-law Uuno; because of him he has become a nervous wreck. He has called that for example "garbage face" and "heap of rubbish". In the beginning of every Uuno film he moves around in his private office keep telling: "I feel as if this is happiest day in my lifetime." Eemil Tapio "Tapsa" Hämäläinen (18 June 1922, in Uukuniemi – 28 January 2008, in Helsinki) was a Finnish actor and theater counsellor. Career Hämäläinen's best known roles were as Salo in '' The Unknown Soldier'' (''The Unknown Soldier'') and Councillor Tuura in the ''Uuno Turhapuro'' films (1976–1993, 2004). Hämäläinen also appeared in many television series, such as '' Naapurilähiö''. He gave his voice to The Hemulen, The Police Inspector and The Groke in the Finnish dub of the ''Moomin'' TV series. ''Uuno Turhapuro muuttaa maalle'' (''"Uuno Turhapuro moves to the country"'') is a 1986 Finnish comedy film, the 11th film in the ''Uuno Turhapuro'' film series. The film attracted a total of 556,519 viewers. It is the fourth most successful ''Uuno Turhapuro'' films. It was filmed in twenty days, from 22 May to 17 June 1986. The countryside scenes were filmed in Heinola, around the Viikinäinen vacation resort. The scene where Tuura visits a psychiatrist was filmed in Spede Pasanen's office in the MTV studios. The film shows Spede's invention's "alarm clock", "cross between a Mercedes-Benz and a Volkswagen Beetle", and "boiling machine", which were previously shown in Spede's films ''X-Paroni'' and '' Pähkähullu Suomi''. The other inventions were designed by Ere Kokkonen.
