Antonio Cosentino (born 1970) is a Turkish contemporary artist of Italian origin living and working in Istanbul. Primarily a painter, Cosentino's work also encompasses sculpture, installation, writing and photography. Education Graduated from the Painting Department of Mimar Sinan University, Istanbul, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1994. Work Cosentino's paintings are characterized by the vibrancy of colors and textures, "suffused with a sense of movement, driven by plot and character". Jerome "Jerry" Cosentino (June 13, 1931 – April 3, 1997) was an American politician from the state of Illinois. He was a Democrat who served as state Treasurer from 1979 until 1983, and again from 1987 until 1991. Life and politics Cosentino was born in Chicago. A trucker, he owned Fast Motor Service, a transport company. His first elective office was Metropolitan Sanitary District Commissioner in Cook County, an office he held from 1975 to 1979. Cosentino also held partisan offices, serving as the Democratic committeeman of Palos Township and as a member of the state central committee of the Illinois Democratic Party. Cosentino was elected to the office of Illinois Treasurer in November 1978, becoming the first Italian-American to be elected to statewide office in Illinois. Vincenzo Antonio Cosentino (born August 13, 1982) is an Italian filmmaker, director, screenwriter and editor. Biography Cosentino was born in Syracuse on August 13, 1982. He lived mostly in Gravina di Catania, Sicily. After finishing his studies in economics in Catania, he migrated to Australia in March 2007 to study film making. He failed at his first competition (Tropfest). Frustration brought him to make other short movies and his first success came with the short film "I Have Learned" in an Avid Student Competition. Cosentino made eight short films in less than 10 months. Baseball Cosentino attended Spring Arbor College in Spring Arbor, Michigan, where he played baseball and called basketball games. After graduation, Cosentino briefly worked as baseball instructor before joining the Toronto Blue Jays as a clubhouse employee.
