Corwen F.C.
Corwen F.C. is a Welsh association football, football club based in Corwen, Denbighshire. They currently play in the Ardal Leagues, Ardal NW, which is at tier three of the Welsh football pyramid. History The earliest mention of football in Corwen dates back to 1868 when The Hon C.H Wynn presented the town with a football upon returning from London. A friendly match took place in a field by the new footbridge in a field kindly given by Mr Jones postmaster. Corwen Football Club was formed in September 1877, Mr J.P. Davies was the first club secretary, whilst Mr Williams was captain. Corwen entered into the inaugural Welsh Cup in 1877. After beating neighbours Bala 1–0 after a replay, they lost heavily to Bangor. The club merged with Llangollen in 1880, before changing name to Mountaineers Football Club in September 1881. Maes Tegid
Maes Tegid ( en, Tegid Field) is a community playing field in Bala, Wales. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home ground of Bala Town (). The stadium holds 3,000 people, with 504 seats and has been used by Bala Town since the 1950s. The seats at Maes Tegid are second-hand from Chesterfield and Coventry City, and were installed when Bala won promotion to the Welsh Premier League. Bala Town use Rhyl's Belle Vue stadium for European matches due to UEFA stadium regulations. In January 2016, Bala Town begun discussions to install a synthetic 3G pitch at Maes Tegid. Corwen
Corwen is a town and community in the county of Denbighshire in Wales. Historically, Corwen is part of the county of Merionethshire. Corwen stands on the banks of the River Dee beneath the Berwyn mountains. The town is situated west of Llangollen and south of Ruthin. Denbighshire

Ardal Leagues
The Ardal Leagues are a football league in Wales. The word "ardal" translates as "district" in English, with Wales split into four regions at this level. They have clubs with amateur/semi-professional status and sit at the third level of the Welsh football league system. The first year of their operation would have been 2020–21 but the 2020–21 Ardal North East season, 2020–21 Ardal North West season, 2020–21 Ardal South East season and 2020–21 Ardal South West season were all cancelled. The inaugural season was moved to 2021–22. The creation of the leagues mark the first time the Football Association of Wales owns and is administering tier 3 of the Welsh league system. FC Queens Park are a football team based in Caia Park, Wrexham, Wales, currently playing in the North East Wales Football League Premier Division. History FC Queens Park were formed in 2013. In their first season they entered the Clwyd East Football League, Clwyd East League, a competition which they won at the first attempt and were subsequently promoted.
