Coroados is a municipality located in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. The population is 6,129 (2020 est.) in an area of . The elevation is . The name "Coroados" refers to the Kaingang people, the original inhabitants of the area. Media In telecommunications, the city was served by Companhia de Telecomunicações do Estado de São Paulo until 1975, when it began to be served by Telecomunicações de São Paulo. In July 1998, this company was acquired by Telefónica, which adopted the Vivo brand in 2012. The company is currently an operator of cell phones, fixed lines, internet (fiber optics/4G) and television (satellite and cable). Vivo (telecommunications Company)
Vivo ( Portuguese for 'Live', as in Live Broadcasting, or 'Alive'), known as Vivo Brazil, is a brand of Telefônica Brasil, a subsidiary of Telefónica and the largest telecommunications company in Brazil. It is headquartered in the Brooklin Novo neighborhood of São Paulo. History The company was originally formed as part of Telebrás, the state-owned telecom monopoly at the time. Kaingang People
The Kaingang people are an Indigenous Brazilian ethnic group spread out over the three southern Brazilian states of Paraná, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul and the southeastern state of São Paulo. Their population was around 51,000 in 2022. Names Kaingang is spelled caingangue in Portuguese, and kanhgág in the Kaingang language. It is also sometimes rendered as Aaingang or Caingang. The Kaingang have sometimes been grouped with the Aweikoma ( Xokleng), although they are now considered separate groups. Culture and language The Kaingang people were the original first inhabitants of the province of Misiones in Argentina. Their language and culture is quite distinct from the neighboring Guaraní.
