Corinna Kuhnle
Corinna Kuhnle (born 4 July 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian slalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2002. She won five medals at the ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships with two golds (K1: 2010, 2011), two silvers (K1 team: 2014, 2017) and a bronze (K1 team: 2005). She also won two golds, six silvers and three bronzes at the European Championships. Kuhnle won the overall world cup title in the K1 category in 2014 and 2015. She finished 8th in the K1 event at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The women's K-1 canoe slalom competition at the 2012 Olympic Games in London took place between 30 July and 2 August at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. The gold medal was won by Émilie Fer from France. Competition format In the heats, each competitor had two runs; the 15 athletes with the best time qualified for the semi-finals. Each semi-final consisted of one run each and the best 10 qualified for the final. The final was also one run where the canoeist with the best time won the gold medal. The 2015 Canoe Slalom World Cup was a series of five races in 5 canoeing and kayaking categories organized by the International Canoe Federation (ICF). It was the 28th edition. Calendar The series opened with World Cup Race 1 in Prague, Czech Republic (June 19–21) and closed with the World Cup Final in Pau, France (August 14–16). Final standings The winner of each race was awarded 60 points (double points were awarded for the World Cup Final for all the competitors who reached at least the semifinal stage). The 2004 European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Kraków, Poland from 10 to 12 September 2004 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA) at the Kraków-Kolna Canoe Slalom Course. It was the 6th edition of the competition for Juniors (U18) and the 2nd edition for the Under 23 category. It was also the first time that the two age categories had a joint European Championships. A total of 12 medal events took place. The team events were held as an open event for both junior and U23 athletes. Countries were allowed to enter two teams in each team event. 2010 European Junior And U23 Canoe Slalom Championships
The 2010 European Junior and U23 Canoe Slalom Championships took place in Markkleeberg, Germany from 4 to 8 August 2010 under the auspices of the European Canoe Association (ECA) at the Kanupark Markkleeberg artificial course. It was the 12th edition of the competition for Juniors (U18) and the 8th edition for the Under 23 category. A total of 17 medal events took place. No medals were awarded for the U23 women's C1 individual and team events due to low number of participating countries. The junior women's C1 team event did not take place. It was the first time that women's C1 class appeared at the European Junior and U23 Championships.
