Coors Brewers Limited, later known as Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Limited is the UK arm of Molson Coors Beverage Company. Its headquarters is in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. The company originates from Bass Brewers Limited. The company has gone through many name changes and mergers. History The company originates from Bass Brewers Limited founded in 1777. In 1926 Bass Brewery merged with William Worthingtons. The company was purchased in 2000 by Interbrew and then forced to change its name due to the purchase by Coors in 2002, as Interbrew kept the name Bass. In 2009 following the merger between Molson and Coors in 2006, Coors Brewers Limited changed its name to Molson Coors Brewing Company (UK) Ltd. Tadcaster
Tadcaster is a market town and civil parish in the Selby district of North Yorkshire, England, east of the Great North Road, north-east of Leeds, and south-west of York. Its historical importance from Roman times onward was largely as the lowest road crossing-point on the River Wharfe until the construction of the A64 Tadcaster by-pass some to the south, in 1978. Magners Irish Cider is a brand of hard cider produced in County Tipperary in Ireland by the C&C Group. The product range includes the cider varieties: Original, Light, Berry, Pear and Rosé. The cider was originally produced as Bulmers Irish Cider and continues to be sold under that name in the Republic of Ireland, although the product is no longer owned by H. P. Worthington White Shield
Worthington's White Shield (5.6% ABV) is an India pale ale (IPA) available principally in bottle conditioned form. White Shield was first brewed by the Worthington Brewery in Burton upon Trent in 1829, primarily for export to the British Empire. Worthington merged with local rival Bass in 1927, which was itself taken over by Coors in 2002. White Shield has won the CAMRA Champion Bottled Beer of Britain Gold award three times, more than any other beer. A malt house, malt barn, or maltings, is a building where cereal grain is converted into malt by soaking it in water, allowing it to sprout and then drying it to stop further growth.
