Cooee Bay is a coastal locality in the Livingstone Shire, Queensland, Australia. In the Cooee Bay had a population of 913 people. Geography Cooee Bay is bounded to the east by the Coral Sea. It is centrally located on the Capricorn Coast, two kilometres south of Yeppoon, and north of Emu Park. Like its neighbouring suburb Taranganba, Cooee Bay is separated from Yeppoon by Ross Creek, a popular fishing location. Emu Park
Emu Park is a coastal town and locality on the Capricorn Coast located south of Yeppoon in Queensland, Australia. It is within the local government area of Shire of Livingstone (between 2008 and 2013, it was within the Rockhampton Region). In the the locality of Emu Park had a population of 2,130 people. Home of the famous Singing Ship Monument, the Emu Park land area was explored by Lieutenant James Cook in 1770. It overlooks the islands of Keppel Bay, including Great Keppel Island. Livingstone Shire Council
The Shire of Livingstone is a local government area located in the Capricornia region of Central Queensland, Queensland, Australia, to the immediate north and east of the regional city of Rockhampton. The shire, administered from the coastal town of Yeppoon, covers an area of , and existed as a local government entity from 1879 until 2008, when it amalgamated with several other councils to become the Rockhampton Region. The Shire was re-established on 1 January 2014 following a successful de-amalgamation referendum in 2013. Industry within the shire is diverse. Timber is harvested from extensive pine plantations near Byfield in the north. Significant pineapple production takes place within the shire, as well as other agricultural crops. Rosslyn is a coastal town and locality in the Livingstone Shire, Queensland, Australia. In the , the locality of Rosslyn had a population of 574 people. Geography Historically, the town of Rosslyn developed along the beaches on either side of Statue Rock, a headland into the Coral Sea. However, when locality boundaries were formalised, Statue Rock was placed on the boundary of the locality of Lammermoor to the west and the locality of Rosslyn to the east. The northern boundary of the locality is coastal commencing at Statue Rock along the beach at Statue Bay (where the residential development is located) to Rosslyn Head (where the Rosslyn Bay Boat Harbour has been developed). Scenic Highway (Queensland)
The Scenic Highway is a coastal highway from Yeppoon to Emu Park, both on the Capricorn Coast in the Shire of Livingstone, Queensland, Australia. Route The highway commences at a roundabout near the southern boundary of Yeppoon, which connects to the (northern) main road from Rockhampton ( Yeppoon Road) and the coastal road to the northern part of Yeppoon (Appleton Drive) It passes from Yeppoon through Cooee Bay, Lammermoor, Rosslyn, Mulambin, Causeway Lake and Kinka Beach to Emu Park. After proceeding south-east for about 350 metres it crosses Ross Creek and passes between Cooee Bay (to the east) and Taranganba (to the west) It then proceeds through Lammermoor, running beside the beach for about 1 km before reaching Rosslyn.
