Convictions is an American Christian metalcore band from Ohio. The band was started in 2012. Convictions consists of vocalist Michael Felker and drummer Zachary Schwochow. The band describes their genre as a style they created called "Aggressive Worship", which is an emotional mix of spirit filled hardcore and ambiance. Shortly after the band formed, they released their first effort ''I Am Nothing'' in 2012. With the departure of original vocalist Dan Gardner, the band quickly followed up with their ''Unworthy'' EP in late 2013. Clear Convictions
Clear Convictions is a Christian metal band from Ponce, Puerto Rico, formerly known as Inmortales. The band formed in 1999, released their debut album, ''Warning'', in 2004, their second album, ''Mystery of Inquiry'', in 2008, their debut Extended play, EP, ''A Past That Attempts To Define Me'', in 2013, and their second EP, ''New Seasons'', in 2015. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Post-hardcore
Post-hardcore is a punk rock music genre that maintains the aggression and intensity of hardcore punk but emphasizes a greater degree of creative expression.
