Constantinos Charalambidis
Constantinos Charalambidis ( el, Κωνσταντίνος Χαραλαμπίδης; born 25 July 1981) is a Cypriot former professional footballer. Throughout his career, Charalambidis had managed to become captain of Apoel Nicosia and the Cyprus National Team. Charalambidis began his career at APOEL, where he remained from 1997-2004, before moving to Greece to play for Panathinaikos from 2004-2007. During that time he was loaned to PAOK for one year in 2006. He also played for Carl Zeiss Jena in Germany before returning home to APOEL in 2008. During his second spell with APOEL, he earned a total of 18 titles, 6 appearances in European competition group stages, and was an important piece to APOEL's run to the quarter-finals of the 2012 UEFA Champions League. APOEL did not renew his contract at the end of the 2016 season and Charalambidis stayed in Cyprus for AEK Larnaka. Nicosia ( ; el, Λευκωσία, Lefkosía ; tr, Lefkoşa ; hy, Նիկոսիա, romanized: ''Nikosia''; Cypriot Arabic: Nikusiya) is the largest city, capital, and seat of government of Cyprus. It is located near the centre of the Mesaoria plain, on the banks of the River Pedieos. A total of 32 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 16 places in the knockout phase of the 2014–15 UEFA Champions League. 2013–14 Cypriot Cup
The 2013–14 Cypriot Cup was the 72nd edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 30 clubs entered the competition. It began on 23 October 2013 with the first round and concluded on 21 May 2014 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. APOEL won their 20th Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Ermis Aradippou 2–0 in the final. Format In the 2013–14 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division and the Cypriot Second Division (Divisions B1 and B2). Teams from the two lower divisions ( Third and Fourth) competed in a separate cup competition. The competition consisted of five rounds. 2012–13 Cypriot First Division
The 2012–13 Cypriot First Division was the 74th season of the Cypriot top-level football league. It began on 1 September 2012 and ended on 19 May 2013. AEL Limassol were the defending champions. APOEL won the championship two matchweeks before the end of the season. The league comprise eleven teams from the 2011–12 season and three promoted teams from the 2011–12 Second Division. Teams Ermis Aradippou and Anagennisi Dherynia were relegated at the end of the first stage of the 2011–12 season after finishing in the bottom two places of the table.
