''Coronation Street'' is an English soap opera created by Granada Television and shown on ITV since 9 December 1960. The programme centres around a cobbled, terraced street in Weatherfield, a fictional town based on inner-city Salford. Paul Clayton is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street''. Portrayed by Lee Booth, the character first appeared on-screen during an episode that aired on 29 November 2000. When the character returned in 2007, Paul was played by Tom Hudson. Percy Sugden is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'', played by Bill Waddington. He appeared between 1983 and 1997. Creation The character was introduced to ''Coronation Street'' as a potential caretaker of the Community Centre. Terry Duckworth
Terry Duckworth is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera '' Coronation Street'', played by Nigel Pivaro.
