Connie Chen
Connie Chen (born 26 October 1992) is a South African professional golfer who has played on the Ladies European Tour. She won the 2014 Open De España Femenino, which was her first title on the tour. Amateur career Chen started playing golf at the age of ten, and first represented South Africa aged 15 at the 2008 Junior Open Championship. She continued her international career by playing for South Africa at the Annika Invitational and The British Girls Championship in 2009 and 2010, and then The Duke of York Invitational in 2010. She more than ten amateur events in 2010 and was a member of the South African team at the 2010 Espirito Santo Trophy, finishing third. She earned the 2010 Compleat Golfer South African Woman Golfer of the Year Award by the Women's Golf South African Association (WGSA). The Dubai Moonlight Classic is a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour (LET). The event was played for the first time in October 2006. Espirito Santo Trophy
The Espirito Santo Trophy (World Women's Amateur Team Championships) is a biennial world amateur team golf championship for women organised by the International Golf Federation. The inaugural event was held in 1964. It was instituted by the French Golf Federation in an agreement with the United States Golf Association. It was planned by Lally Segard, at the time known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, from France and Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America. Segard also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo, from Portugal, to donate a trophy for the event, which they did. They had originally bought the golden cup, which had belonged to Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, for an international Portuguese event that was not played anymore. Carlota Ciganda Machiñena (born 1 June 1990) is a professional golfer from Spain who plays on the Ladies European Tour and the LPGA Tour. She won the LET's Order of Merit (money title) in her debut season in 2012, and was also named Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year. 2013 Ladies European Tour
The 2013 Ladies European Tour is a series of golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world, which takes place from February through December, 2013. The tournaments are sanctioned by the Ladies European Tour (LET). At present, the tour is scheduled to feature a total of 24 events, including the return of the Ladies Italian Open, which hasn't been on the tour since 2009. It also features the bi-annual Europe vs. USA Solheim Cup, which will rotate its turn to the United States for 2013. Also added to the tour is the Helsingborg Open in Sweden.
