Cunner
The cunner (''Tautogolabrus adspersus''), also known as the blue perch, bergall, chogset, choggie, conner or sea perch, is a species of wrasse native to the northwestern Atlantic, where it is found from the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Newfoundland to the Chesapeake Bay. They inhabit inshore waters living near the sea floor at depths from , preferring areas with beds of seaweed, shipwrecks, or wharf pilings. They spend the winter months in a state of torpor underneath rocks. They can also be found in the aquarium trade. Often, cunner is found mixed in with tautogs, living on or near the same structures. Much of the food eaten by those bergall living among blackfish are the leftovers from the blackfishes prey. They can be distinguished from the tautog by their pointed snouts. Cunners are generally smaller, so are usually thrown back by anglers who think they caught a "short" tautog. In past years, they have been important commercial fish, but now are considered pests. They can ...

Ale Conner
Ale is a type of beer brewed using a warm fermentation method, resulting in a sweet, full-bodied and fruity taste. Historically, the term referred to a drink brewed without hops. As with most beers, ale typically has a bittering agent to balance the malt and act as a preservative. Ale was originally bittered with gruit, a mixture of herbs or spices boiled in the wort before fermentation. Later, hops replaced gruit as the bittering agent. Etymology The word ''ale'' comes into English from its ancestor-language, Proto- Germanic. English belongs to the West Germanic branch of Proto- Germanic, and some other languages in this branch also attest to the word: Middle Dutch ''āle'' and ''ael'', and the Old Saxon word ''alo-fat'' 'ale-cup'. The word is also found throughout the North Germanic languages, almost certainly appearing in ancient runic inscriptions in the form '' alu'', and subsequently in Old Norse as ''ǫl''. Through linguistic reconstruction it is possible to infer that t ...

Conner Peripherals
Conner Peripherals (commonly referred to as Conner) was a company that manufactured hard drives for personal computers. Conner Peripherals was founded in 1985 by Seagate Technology co-founder and San Jose State University alumnus Finis Conner (1943– ). In 1986, they merged with CoData, a Colorado start-up founded by MiniScribe founders Terry Johnson and John Squires. CoData was developing a new type of small hard disk that put the capacity of a 5.25-inch drive into the smaller (and now commonplace) 3.5-inch format. The CoData drive was the first Conner Peripherals product. The company was partially financed by Compaq, who was also a major customer for many years. Hard disks Design concepts Conner's drives were notable for eschewing the "tub" type of head-disk assembly, where the disks are inside a large base casting shaped like a square bowl or vault with a flat lid; instead, they preferred the flat base plate approach, which was more resistant to shock and less likely to ...

Conner (given Name)
Connor is a Goidelic Celtic male given name, anglicised from the compound Irish word "Conchobhar", meaning "Lover of wolves” or "master of hounds" and sometimes taken to mean "hunter". The most prominent person with this name in medieval Ireland was the Irish king Conchobar mac Nessa, a semi-legendary king in Ulster described in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology, and the name was probably first anglicised to 'Connor' by the Hiberno-Normans. The modern Irish often anglicise it with one 'n' to Conor. Variant forms of ''Connor'' appear across Ireland, the UK and North America and include Conor, Conner and sometimes Konnor. “Conor” with a single 'n' was the most popular name given to boys in Ireland in 1999.
