Eagle Point is a city in Jackson County, Oregon, Jackson County, Oregon, United States. The population was 8,469 at the 2010 United States Census, 2010 census, up from 4,798 at the 2000 census. The post office was established in 1872; Andrew McNeil was the first postmaster. A water-powered gristmill, Butte Creek Mill, has operated in Eagle Point for more than 125 years. Alternative High School (AHS) is a public senior high (secondary) school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; which teaches grades 10 through 12. AHS is currently located at the Clinton Ford Centre, which was home to the former Clinton Ford Elementary School. AHS was launched, independent of the board, in September 1974 by a parents group.
