Conference Of Regions And Autonomous Provinces
The Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces, originally named "Conference of Presidents of Regions and Autonomous Provinces", is a political body of coordination between the Regions of Italy and, chiefly, their presidents. The Conference, established in Pomezia, Lazio on 15–16 January 1981, is composed of 21 members, including the representatives of the autonomous provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol, which form the Region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol. Massimiliano Fedriga
Massimiliano Fedriga (born 2 July 1980 in Verona) is an Italian Northern League politician. He is the president of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia autonomous region. Biography Born in Verona on 2 July 1980 and raised in Trieste, Fedriga graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of Trieste. After graduating, he obtained a master's degree in communication management and analysis. He joined the Northern League in 1995. Subsequently, he became a member of the "National Council", the decision-making body of the party in Friuli-Venezia Giulia and then of the Federal Council. Since 2003 he has been provincial secretary of the League, while on 28 September 2014 he was elected national secretary of the party of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The 2019 Piedmontese regional election took place on 26 May 2019, the same day as the European Parliament election in Italy. The election was for all 50 members of the Regional Council of Piedmont, as well as for the President of the Region, who is also a member of the Council.
