Communist Youth Federation of Spain (in Spanish: ''Federación de Jóvenes Comunistas de España'') was the youth wing of the Spanish Communist Workers' Party (PCOE). FJCE published ''Lucha Juvenil''. In 1982 FJCE published ''Enríque Lister 1907–1982, 75 años, una historia, una lucha'' (Madrid, 1982), as a biography of the PCOE leader Enrique Líster. Spanish Communist Workers' Party (1973)
The Spanish Communist Workers' Party ( es, Partido Comunista Obrero Español, PCOE) is an anti-revisionist Marxist-Leninist communist party in Spain. It was founded in 1973, when Enrique Líster (a Republican general in the Spanish Civil War) revolted against the Eurocommunist line of Communist Party of Spain (PCE) general secretary Santiago Carrillo. The party published ''Análisis''. History A catalyst for the split was the condemnation by the PCE of the Soviet intervention in Czechoslovakia in 1968. PCOE was legalized in 1977, during the Spanish transition to democracy. Its sister organisation in Catalonia was the Partit Comunista Obrer de Catalunya. PCOE had a youth organization called the Communist Youth Federation of Spain (''Federación de Jóvenes Comunistas de España''). Enrique Líster
Enrique Líster Forján (21 April 1907 – 8 December 1994) was a Spanish communist politician and military officer. Early life Líster was born in 1907 at Ameneiro, A Coruña. A stonemason, he spent his adolescence in Cuba, before returning in 1925 and joining the Communist Party of Spain (PCE). His involvement with the revolutionary movement forced his exile until 1931, when the Second Spanish Republic was proclaimed. In August 1931, he took part in the Cuban uprising against Gerardo Machado, who had declared martial law. Between 1932 and 1935, Líster received training in the Frunze Military Academy, one of the most respected in the Soviet Union.
