The communauté de communes du Pays de Bitche ( French for "Land of Bitche community of communes", ) is a federation of municipalities (''communauté de communes''), located in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. Bitche
Bitche ( , ; German and Lorraine Franconian: ) is a Communes of France, commune in the Moselle (department), Moselle Departments of France, department, administrative regions of France, administrative region of Grand Est, northeastern France. It is the Pays de Bitche's capital city and the seat of the Canton of Bitche and the communauté de communes du Pays de Bitche. The town belongs to the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park and is rated 4-flowers at the Concours des villes et villages fleuris, towns and villages in bloom competition. The town's population at the 2013 census was 5,225. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Bitchois'' and ''Bitchoises''. The town is known for :fr:Citadelle de Bitche, its large citadel originating from a castle built at the beginning of the 13th century. Haspelschiedt (; german: Haspelscheidt; Lorraine Franconian: ''Haschbelschitt'') is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The population in 2018 was 301 inhabitants. Geography The municipality of Haspelschiedt is located in the far northeast of Lorraine, northeast of Bitche and near the border with the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is crossed by the Schwartzenbach River. The area belongs to the Pays de Bitche region and is within the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. Goetzenbruck or Gœtzenbruck (; ; Lorraine Franconian: ''Getzebrikk'') is a commune in the Moselle department of the Grand Est administrative region in north-eastern France. The inhabitants of the commune are known as ''Goetzenbruckois'' and ''Goetzenbruckoises''. The present municipality of Goetzenbruck was originally divided into three municipalities.
