Committee On Comprehensive Financial Services For Small Businesses And Low Income Households
Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low Income Households (commonly known as the Nachiket Mor Committee) was an expert committee formed by Raghuram Rajan on 23 September 2013, after he was appointed as the governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It was headed by Nachiket Mor. The objective of the panel was to study various aspects of financial inclusion in India. The panel submitted its final report on 7 January 2014. Members The committee was chaired by Nachiket Mor, a member of the Central Board of the RBI. Priority sector lending is lending to those sectors of the economy which may not otherwise receive timely and adequate credit.
