Colin Meldrum (footballer, Born 1975)
Colin George Meldrum (born 26 November 1975) in Kilmarnock is a Scottish former professional goalkeeper and coach, who previously played for Kilmarnock, Livingston, Forfar Athletic and Motherwell. Whilst at the East Ayrshire club, Meldrum had loan spells at Stranraer and Ross County. Career After spending his youth career with Scottish Juniors club Kilwinning Rangers in North Ayrshire, Meldrum then signed for his home-town club Kilmarnock, where he played for a decade from 1994 until 2004, playing in 75 league matches, as he was predominantly the understudy goalkeeper. During the 1998–99 season, Meldrum was sent out on loan to both Ross County (2 league appearances) and Stranraer (7 league appearances). Meldrum signed for West Lothian club Livingston before the start of the 2004–05 season, where he played in only five league matches during his solitary season with the ''Livi Lions''. Station Park, Forfar
Station Park is a football ground in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. It is home to Scottish Professional Football League side Forfar Athletic and to Forfar Farmington of the Scottish Women's Premier League. Station Park is one of a number of old fashioned football grounds left in the Scottish League. It has a capacity of although this has previously been much higher. The record crowd is 10,780 against Rangers in 1970. The total has been reduced for safety reasons. The ground allows access to all four sides of the pitch. There is one large terrace behind the goal at the western end of the ground. Scott Leitch
Donald Scott Leitch (born 6 October 1969) is a Scottish former football player and coach, who played as a midfielder. He played professionally for Dunfermline Athletic, Heart of Midlothian, Swindon Town and Motherwell, and managed Ross County. Career Leitch began his playing career in 1989 at junior club Shettleston before turning professional with Dunfermline Athletic in April 1990. After three years at Dunfermline he joined Heart of Midlothian, where he remained for another three years before moving to England with Swindon Town in a £15,000 transfer. Leitch returned to Scotland in 2000 with home-town team Motherwell where he played 128 league games, scoring 1 goal. A succession of injury problems prompted Leitch to retire as player in 2006 and turn to management with Ross County, where he was officially appointed on 18 April 2006. James Leighton (born 24 July 1958) is a Scottish former professional association football, footballer who played as a Goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. Leighton started his career with Aberdeen F.C., Aberdeen, where he won seven domestic trophies and the 1982–83 European Cup Winners' Cup under the management of Alex Ferguson. Ferguson then signed Leighton for Manchester United F.C., Manchester United in 1988, but dropped him after he conceded three goals in the 1990 FA Cup Final. Leighton then had spells with Arsenal F.C., Arsenal, Reading F.C., Reading, Dundee F.C., Dundee and Sheffield United F.C., Sheffield United, and rebuilt his career after joining Hibernian F.C., Hibernian in 1993. Fir Park
Fir Park Stadium is a football stadium situated in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The stadium plays host to the home matches of Scottish Premiership club Motherwell and was the temporary home of Gretna for the 2007–08 SPL season. Motherwell moved to the stadium in 1895, previously playing their football at Dalziel Park. History and facilities Motherwell F.C. was formed in 1886.
