Colegio Nacional de la Capital "Gral. Bernardino Caballero" (or simply CNC) is a public high school in Asuncion, Paraguay. The school is one of the most prestigious in Paraguay. Many personalities have studied there. Félix Toranzos (born October 30, 1962) is a Paraguayan artist, architect and graphic designer, considered to be one of the most conspicuous representatives of the new generation of artists in Paraguay. Early life Born in Asunción, capital of the Republic of Paraguay, on October 30, 1964. His parents are an artist himself, and Angelina Miers, of Argentina. Eduardo Schaerer
Eduardo Schaerer Vera y Aragón (2 December 1873 – 12 November 1941) was a Swiss-Paraguayan businessman, publisher, and Liberal politician. He served as President of the Republic of Paraguay between 1912 and 1916. Schaerer was succeeded by Manuel Franco on 15 August 1916. Ex-president Schaerer continued in public service as a senator in 1921 and founded the newspaper '' La Tribuna'' (The Tribune) in 1925. Schaerer was born in Caazapá, on 2 December 1873 to Santiago Schaerer and Elizabeth Vera y Aragon. His father was a notable Swiss colonizer (from Vordemwald, Aargau), and the special character that distinguished Schaerer was inherited from him. Albino Jara
Colonel Albino Jara Benegas (28 February 1877 – 15 May 1912) was provisional President of Paraguay from 19 January 1911 to 5 July 1911. A military official, he was a member of the Liberal Party. He came to power during a coup orchestrated by him against previous president Manuel Gondra. He later chose Liberato Marcial Rojas as his successor following widespread rebellion and unrest. Albino Jara fought in the Revolution of 1904 as a Major, supporting the Liberals. He, a radical, had grown discontent over Liberal inaction leading up to and during the presidency of Manuel Gondra. Emiliano González Navero (16 June 1861 – 18 October 1934) was a Paraguayan politician of the Liberal Party, he served as President of Paraguay on three occasions and as Vice President of Paraguay on two occasions. The Authentic Radical Liberal Party ( es, Partido Liberal Radical Auténtico or ''PLRA'') is a centrist liberal political party in Paraguay. The party is a full member of Liberal International. Cecilio Báez
Cecilio Báez González (January 1, 1862 – June 18, 1941) was provisional President of Paraguay from December 8, 1905 to November 25, 1906. He was a member of the Liberal Party. Early life and career Dr. Cecilio Báez González was born in Asunción, capital of Paraguay on February 1, 1862. His parents were Nicholas Báez and Faustina González. His brothers were Otoniel, Benjamin, Modesta and Restituta Báez González. He was married for 25 years to Marcelina Allende of Caazapa, daughter of Polycarpo Allende and Rosario Monges. Manuel Ortiz Guerrero (16 July 1894 – 8 May 1933) was a Paraguayan poet and musician. Biography Guerrero was born in Ybaroty, a neighbourhood in the city of Villarrica del Espíritu Santo, Paraguay. He was the son of Vicente Ortiz and Susana Guerrero, who died after giving birth. He was raised by his grandmother, Florencia Ortiz.
