''Cold Coffee'' is the debut studio album by the Scottish singer-songwriter Barrie-James O'Neill, released on 8 April 2016 by Acid Bird. The album was recorded in June 2015 in Los Angeles, California, United States. It was tracked, mixed, and mastered in 13 days. It was written and composed by O'Neill. Rob Schnapf served as the album producer and mixer. Scottie Diablo as A&R and Executive Producer. Cold Coffee was preceded by the digital release of five singles, "Mary", "Chivalry Is Alive And Well And Living In Glasgow", "Angel Tears", "Way Over My Head" and "Night Burns". Promotion Songs "Mary" was released as the album's first promotional single on 14 February 2014. Barrie-James O'Neill
Kassidy are a Scottish alternative folk rock band. The band consist of Barrie-James O'Neill (vocals, piano and guitar), Hamish Fingland (vocals and guitar), Lewis Andrew (vocals, guitar, accordion and keyboard) and Chris Potter (vocals and guitar). The band was formed in late 2009 in Glasgow. The quartet met through friends' bands and fortunate pub encounters. Kassidy began writing and recording their music in a share house, which they later converted to a personal studio. They released three EP's, the second entitled ''The Rubbergum EP Volume 2'' on 16 August 2010. To follow their EPs, Kassidy released their debut album, ''Hope St.'', on 21 March 2011. They released their second album, '' One Man Army'', on 30 April 2012. The band toured along with Lana Del Rey from 3 April 2013 to 31 May 2013 on her Paradise Tour in Europe. Rob Schnapf
Rob Schnapf is an American record producer and musician. He was the co-producer (along with Tom Rothrock) of Elliott Smith's albums ''Either/Or'', '' XO'' (on which he also played guitar on the song " Baby Britain"), '' Figure 8'' and ''From a Basement on the Hill'', for which he was recruited by Smith's family to complete after Smith's death. Schnapf runs the Mant Sounds studio. Background Schnapf, along with Rothrock and partner Bradshaw Lambert, started Bong Load Custom Records in the early 1990s which is notable for releasing Beck's " Loser" single. Schnapf first heard Beck as he was playing on the street during the annual Sunset Junction Fair. A week later Rothrock saw Beck jump onstage to play in between bands during a show at Jabberjaw and approached him afterwards about recording his songs.
