Coffeed
Coffeed is a "philanthropic artisanal coffee company" with its headquarters in Queens, Queens, New York City, United States, USA. The company opened its flagship location in Long Island City in September 2012. As of June 2019, the flagship location on Northern Boulevard has closed and the LIC Landing has become the new flagship location. By February 2016, Coffeed has a dozen locations in the New York City, New York area and one in Seoul, Seoul, South Korea. Included among them are LIC Landing, an outdoor café in Hunter's Point South Park, and New Leaf, a restaurant in Manhattan, Manhattan's Fort Tryon Park. Coffee closed all locations and ceased operating in December 2019. Fort Tryon Park
Fort Tryon Park is a public park located in the Hudson Heights and Inwood neighborhoods of the borough of Manhattan in New York City. The park is situated on a ridge in Upper Manhattan, close to the Hudson River to the west. It extends mostly from 192nd Street in the south to Riverside Drive in the north, and from Broadway in the east to the Henry Hudson Parkway in the west. The main entrance to the park is at Margaret Corbin Circle, at the intersection of Fort Washington Avenue and Cabrini Boulevard. The area was known by the local Lenape tribe as ''Chquaesgeck'' and by Dutch settlers as ''Lange Bergh'' (Long Hill). During the American Revolutionary War, the Battle of Fort Washington was fought at the site of the park on November 16, 1776. Long Island City
Long Island City (LIC) is a residential and commercial neighborhood on the extreme western tip of Queens, a borough in New York City. New York State Route 25A (NY 25A) is a state highway on Long Island in New York, United States. It serves as the main east–west route for most of the North Shore of Long Island, running for from Interstate 495 (I-495) at the Queens–Midtown Tunnel in the New York City borough of Queens to NY 25 in Calverton, Suffolk County. The highway is a northern alternate route of NY 25, which follows a more inland routing along Jericho Turnpike. The New York Foundling, founded in 1869 by the Roman Catholic Sisters of Charity, is one of New York City's oldest and largest child welfare agencies. The Foundling operates programs in the five boroughs of New York City, Rockland County, and Puerto Rico.
