Cody McMahan
Cody T. McMahan (born December 7, 1991) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, driving the No. 1 Chevrolet Silverado for Beaver Motorsports and the No. 0 Silverado for JJC Racing. Racing career McMahan's interest in racing began when he attended his first race at the age of 4; as a 12-year-old, he began dirt track racing at Wythe Raceway. In 2011, he competed in the Charger division at Lonesome Pine Raceway with NASCAR veteran Eric McClure as his manager. That year, he won four races and Rookie of the Year honors. He eventually moved to the X-1R Pro Cup Series before making his ARCA Racing Series debut at Talladega Superspeedway in 2013, where he finished 12th. Chilhowie, Virginia
Chilhowie is a town in Smyth County, Virginia, United States, on the Middle Fork of the Holston River. The population was 1,781 at the 2010 census. The name Chilhowie is said to come from a Cherokee word meaning "valley of many deer". It is also notable for having only one traffic light in the entire city. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.6 square miles (6.7 km), all of it land. History Chilhowie was often the starting point of longhunter expeditions in the 1700s. In 1748 the area was visited by Colonel James Patton and Dr. Thomas Walker. They constructed a small fort, likely just a blockhouse. An early settler was Samuel Stalnaker (1715-1769) who converted Patton's fort into a tavern known as the Town House, and lived there until the late 1760s. The CARS Solid Rock Carriers Tour (formerly known as the USARacing Pro Cup Series, USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series, CARS Pro Cup Series, Rev-Oil Pro Cup Series, CARS X1-R Pro Cup Series) is a stock car auto racing series in the United States. The Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race that takes place at Martinsville Speedway in the spring. In 2020, as part of schedule realignment, the fall race became the only Truck Series race at the track as NASCAR decided to give the track one Xfinity Series race instead. This schedule change was done in a swap with Richmond Raceway, which previously had two Xfinity Series races and zero Truck Series races and would now have one Xfinity Series race and one Truck Series race (which replaced the spring race at Martinsville). The Fr8Auctions 208 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was initially held from 2004 until 2012 and taken off the schedule in 2013. The race returned to the schedule in 2015 and since then has been held on the Saturday of the race weekend as a doubleheader with the track's NASCAR Xfinity Series race, the Nalley Cars 250, prior to the NASCAR Cup Series' Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 race at the track on Sunday. The NextEra Energy 250 is the first race of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season at Daytona International Speedway and as of 2004 has been held under the lights. It is the Truck Series event of Speedweeks – the series of races leading up to the Daytona 500. 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series was the 22nd season of the Camping World Truck Series, the third highest stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in North America. It was contested over twenty-three races, beginning with the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway and ending with the Ford EcoBoost 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Johnny Sauter of GMS Racing won the driver's championship with three victories. Toyota won the manufacturer's championship with 14 wins and 32 points over Chevrolet. This was the first year that the truck series (and the Xfinity Series) had a playoff system.
