Cody Coughlin
Cody Coughlin (born December 11, 1995) is an American professional drag and stock car racing driver. He competes in the National Hot Rod Association's Pro Stock class for KB Titan Racing, and part-time in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and CARS Pro Late Model Tour for his family team Coughlin Brothers Racing. He has also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series in the past. Racing career Coughlin started his career in drag racing, competing in the National Hot Rod Association's Jr. Drag Racing League, but eventually switched to oval track racing. He began in USAC quarter midgets, winning five races in 2009. The following year, he switched to Late models, and joined the JEGS/CRA All-Stars in 2011. In eleven races, Coughlin finished in the top ten in all but one, while also recording four top-five finishes with a best finish of second at Rockford Speedway. Dover International Speedway
Dover Motor Speedway (formerly known as the Dover International Speedway from 2002 to 2021 and as the Dover Downs International Speedway from 1969 to 2001) is a oval track in Dover, Delaware. The venue has hosted major events since its inaugural season in 1969, including NASCAR and IndyCar races. It has a 54,000-seat capacity as of 2022. Kansas Speedway (formerly known as Kansas International Speedway in initial planning and construction stages) is a tri-oval Oval track racing#Intermediate, intermediate speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is an American professional stock car racing organization founded by Pro Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Gibbs. His son, J. D. Gibbs, ran the team with him until his death in 2019. Rockford Speedway
Rockford Speedway was a 1/4 mile Short track motor racing, short track high banked asphalt oval located in Loves Park, Illinois on Illinois Route 173. Up until its demolition in 2023, Rockford Speedway, Chicagoland Speedway, and World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway were the only racetracks running under NASCAR sanctions in Illinois. It hosted weekly local-level events during the summer racing season as well as occasional regional- and national-level events. Late Model
Late Model stock car racing, also known as late model racing and late models, refers to a type of auto racing that involves purpose-built cars simultaneously racing against each other primarily on oval tracks. This type of racing was early-on characterized by its participants' modification to the engines of post-World War II passenger cars, but the modern day understanding references a class that allows considerable modifications to both the engine and body, yet requires some form of front fender package. ARCA Menards Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car racing, stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, Road racing, road courses, and Dirt track racing, dirt tracks. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR), and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck-based stock cars.
