Adam Coakley
Adam Thomas Coakley (born 19 October 1987 in Glasgow) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a striker. He is the son of property tycoon Tom Coakley, who in 2007 expressed an interest in buying Motherwell where his son was a player. Coakley quit football at the age of 22, but has since has returned to play junior football with Glenafton Athletic and Kirkintilloch Rob Roy. Career Motherwell Coakley started his career at Motherwell, becoming a regular scorer for the reserves and made his debut as a late substitute for Jim Hamilton in the 2005 Boxing Day 3–1 victory against Aberdeen. Andy Coakley
Andrew James Coakley (November 20, 1882 – September 27, 1963) was an American pitcher in Major League Baseball. He played for the Philadelphia Athletics (1902–1906), Cincinnati Reds (1907–1908), Chicago Cubs (1908–1909), and New York Highlanders (1911). Playing career Coakley was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1882. He helped the Athletics win the 1902 and 1905 American League pennants and the Cubs win the 1908 World Series, though he did not play in the latter. Coakley was the last surviving member of the 1908 Cubs team. His only postseason appearance was a complete game 9–0 loss to the New York Giants in the 1905 World Series. Although the Athletics gave up nine runs that day, Coakley was only charged with three earned runs, as the A's committed five errors behind him. William Dexter Coakley (born October 20, 1972) is a former American football linebacker who played ten seasons in the National Football League (NFL). "A Rape on Campus" is a retracted, defamatory ''Rolling Stone'' magazine article written by Sabrina Erdely and originally published on November 19, 2014, that describes a purported group sexual assault at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, Virginia. ''Rolling Stone'' retracted the story in its entirety on April 5, 2015. The article claimed that a UVA student Jackie Coakley had been taken to a party hosted by UVA's Phi Kappa Psi fraternity by a fellow student.
