Cláudio Roberto Siqueira Fernandes Filho (born 21 June 1980), or simply Cláudio, is a Brazilian association football, footballer. Biography Born in Londrina, Paraná, Cláudio played once for Goiás Esporte Clube, Goiás in 2001 Copa do Brasil. In November 2001 he signed a 5-year contract with Iraty Sport Club, Iraty. He played for the team at 2003 Copa do Brasil. In 2004, he was loaned to Paraná Clube, Paraná and played 21 matches in 2004 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A. In January 2005 he left for Associação Atlética Internacional (Limeira), Inter de Limeira, signed a contract until the end of 2005 Campeonato Paulista, which the club relegated. In May, he was loaned to Paysandu Sport Club, Paysandu but only played 6 league matches. In September, he was loaned to Prudentópolis Esporte Clube, Prudentópolis of Campeonato Paranaense Série Prata (Paraná state 2nd level). Londrina
Londrina (, literally "Little London") is a city located in the north of the state of Paraná, South Region, Brazil, and is away from the state capital, Curitiba. Campeonato Brasileiro Série C
The Campeonato Brasileiro Série C is the third tier of the Brazilian football league system. Unlike the first and second divisions, the Série C is not played in a double round robin system, arguably because many participating teams lack the financial conditions to travel long distances. Thus, the tournament is organized in regional groups and the table prevents teams from distant states from playing each other in the initial rounds. Until 2008, any professional team could apply, but only 64 teams would take part in the tournament. The teams that had been relegated from the Série B in the previous year were joined by teams qualified for each federation state. Qualification rules varied, some federations used the state tournaments as qualification tournaments, others organized exclusive qualification tournaments to the Série C. Campeonato Mineiro is the state football league of the state of Minas Gerais and is controlled by the Minas Gerais Football Federation FMF (Federação Mineira de Futebol). The history of Campeonato Mineiro can be divided into two parts: before and after the construction of the Mineirão, in September 1966. The Mineirão is the biggest football stadium of Minas Gerais and it is located in Minas Gerais' state capital, Belo Horizonte. Before the stadium's inauguration América and Atlético were the most successful teams in the state, but after the construction of the Mineirão, known as the "Era Mineirão" ("Mineirão Era"), another team from the capital, Cruzeiro, also gained prominence.
